internet interrupted

i’d have to say it’s been quite refreshing to not have internet or a tv in my house. the simplicity of living has been so nice. you think i’d be able to continue the simplicity after getting a tv or internet. when i got the tv it was on during lunch and most of the nights. the books i’ve been trying to read have unintentionally been put on hold. then the tv broke and i started to read. three days after the tv broke (even though it was brand new) i get internet. simplicity out the window once again.

i loved the quietness of living on the mountain not living near anyone else and just the sight of wild horses and mongoose out the window. now my bright screen of my macbook is in my face seemingly getting brighter and brighter trying to get my attention. since i’ve been online i’ve been getting messages from friends at home in the states.

but i feel this life of simplicity is a luxery. where else would i get the chance to see a sky that isn’t lit up by a near by city so i can i see the true glow of the millions of stars. God is luxery. just depends on what your definition of luxery is.

what is the definition of luxery to you?
