Where You Live
Here are my favorites about South Africa:
- People :: The people I work with, the Basotho, mission teams that come in. Everyone brings in a different spirit and energy that makes the mission life so exciting and upbeat.
- Animals :: Even just on our property we have plenty of different animals and birds. But the animals of Southern Africa are amazing! We have the Big Five too!
- Scenery :: God’s natural creation is seen everywhere. The mountains, greenery, waters, and sky (night and day) are outstanding eye candy that God made for our enjoyment, even the weather.
- Lifestyle :: Living on a farm with all sorts of animals (including staff) is a blessing. Many areas of our life aren’t much different than yours… we just don’t exactly get paid. It’s a great community to be living in and we have the joy of living between a few mountains.
- Being in God’s will :: It’s a blessing to know that we’re God’s hand to the people of South Africa. We may be the closest image of Jesus that they may ever get. I feel honored that God would use me in this way; to take my talents and energy to be totally devoted to what He has for my life so that it may glorify Him more. I’m going to try and get some samples of design work I’ve been doing so that you can see exactly what it is I do.

Tel Aviv: Israel. I love living in the city again! Its always busy and full of energy. Yet, we have the beautiful Mediterranean Sea too. I love the Sea!!!! The food is amazing and I love it. We are only 30 min. from Jerusalem and all the Biblical sites. Awesome! And the culture. I love living in a place where culture is everything! Customs, languages, songs, stories go all the way back to the beginning of time and its soooo great! Yeah! Thats my city
